www.dlisted.com is talking about breastfeeding and since we all LOVE thetopic, I thought you would find this funny.

Okay, if you want to breastfeed your kid until he graduates high school, fine. It's your titty milk, it's your kid, have at it! But don't think that bitches want to hear about that ****. Especially, when your son can talk about it.

Pregnant Kelly Rutherford, aka forever Megan Lewis to me, told UsWeekly (via P6) that she still squirts leche for her talking 2-year-old son Hermes and she loves it. She said, 'It's an amazing bond with your child. I was thinner after my pregnancy than before, and I think a lot of it was the nursing.'

When you can make small-talk with your son while he's sucking on your nip, maybe it's time to invest in a bottle or two. Actually, I shouldn't judge. At least Hermes can tell Kelly if her breast milk is too warm or rancid tasting. That way she can go stick her titty in the fridge for a few minutes.

I'm sorry but I have an issue with women who whip out a titty in public to breastfeed....cover yourself , and I don't care, but I don't need to see your breast, or your kid sucking on it when I am out trying to eat.

here we go......

this is when it starts to get ugly. haven't you seen enough of these threads to know to know that comments like this, either way, don't go well? Yelley's topic has nothing to do with this, let's keep it to her OP.

Just trying to be diplomatic here.

Discretion in public. That's all I ask for.

As for BF a 2 year old, that's a matter of personal choice. I feel it is weird. A child that age should be drinking out of a sippy cup.

If a child is not drinking either cow milk or fortified soy milk, how does the child get enough calcium and vitamin D for bone development ?

I have a feeling that the reason she is doing it for so long is, and I quote, 'It's an amazing bond with your child. (i agree with that) I was thinner after my pregnancy than before, and I think a lot of it was the nursing.'

See I kinda think yelley topic does have to do with breastfeeding at a later age , and therefore public breastfeeding is somewhat relevant , regardless how many times this have been discussed on this board. How many threads have I seen that started off talking about one thing, and turned into another similar topic on this board, not to mention others have posted comments on this thread already that have nothing to do with the OP's post.

I didn't say that women shouldn't breastfeed in public, I plan on breastfeeding myself in the future , just cover up when you are in a restaurant . This is my opinion , and if it doesn't go well then so be it.

I want to see your baby bump as well , please post !

Threads always turn depending on people's opinions and views. I think what missliss was referring to was the way you said what you said. I think a majority of people are uncomfortable if they are out in public and and a woman breastfeeds without covering up. I think most people just want there to be a blanket or burpie cloth covering the area, especially if they are out to eat, etc.

I could have said a lot worse or phrased it differently to sound a diplomatic as possible , I agree with that

I'm now taking bets as to what time this board will be invaded by angry moms.

I got 10:15.

How about 10:06 from a mommy-to-be?

j/k I too think that age is too old, and I plan on bfing. But you know what, whatever works for them I guess.

Ps, how are you feeling? where are your baby bump pics? i'm obsessed with belly pics!

lol, I have them in my camera. I finally took my FIRST belly pics on monday at 31 weeks. I'm the worst mommy-to-be EVER!!! I just need to upload them to my computer at home. I will get on that tonight I swear.

Feeling good, I'm just ready already. And I still have 2 months to go. Actually 2 months today.

OOOO!!!! I can't wait to see!

I'm so excited for you. I hope that the last two months fly by!!!

Don't hold your breath -- we will see pictures of the baby before we see the belly pictures

My sister works with a women who still BF her 4 Year Old. Now it is not the child's only source of liquid -- but still at night or when the kid wants a snack they just go to the boob.

Not only can they ask for it -- they can just go and pull up the shirt, move the bra and go for it.

My personal opinion is I am all for it when the child is a new born, baby. Not after a certain age.

AND -- for the skinnier part I think she is forgetting that if you keep up the feeding to long you will be skinny but your boobs will be hitting the floor!

Ugh, nasty! I think that people who allow their child to walk up and take a sip or two is just plain wrong. I think that some women need to reexamine their thoughts on it being a bonding experience (past a certain age of course) and to me it seems almost incestual to do such a thing. YUCK!
