We are hoping to go to Germany for 1 year anniv but id that doesnt pan out we are thing about cruise

My mother went on one a couple of years ago and LOVED it. She said the port cities were all charming NE towns and she just fell in love with Nova Scotia.

I went on one (Norweigan Sea) and it was aweful. That was much more to do with the boat than the ports ... but the ports werent really my cup of tea either.
I think they are geared for an older crowd since there isnt much to do.
Just my opinion.

Wacky-I lived in Nova Scotia for a while...it's one of my favourite places on the planet!! Let me know if you decide to do this and need help in finding great places!! And it will be comfortable in June-not overly warm but 60's maybe 70's!

I went on the Carnival Triumph--on the 4 night cruise. It was in July, and Nova Scotia was the only port. I thought the boat was kind of worn down and the service was not as great as I've experienced before (but I have been told that about shorter vs longer cruises). As for weather, it was cold while we were at sea, even though it was July. Too cold to sunbathe!
