Hey Ladies!!!!! We found out what we're having!!!!!!!!!!!

We had our 20 wk appt today and now we know what this baby is!!!

We'd been going back and forth for weeks and couldn't come to an agreement. First I wanted to know, then he didn't, then we switched, and then we switched again. We still had not decided on the way there this morning, and as we're walking up the stairs from the 6 train DH is like, whatever you decide is fine with me. Now of course I can't make a decision to save my life.

But we were in the waiting room and all of a sudden I started crying (which is bizarre for me since I've been so unemotional throughout this whole pregnancy). I just felt like I needed to know...so I told DH we're finding out. So without further adieu, it's a..............

We're both so excited. We would have been excited either way, neither of us had a preference at all, right now we're ecstatic that he's healthy and seems to be progressing nicely. Actually, maybe too nicely, he's a big boy already, 15 oz and measuring a week ahead. Anyway, just wanted to keep you guys updated on my little bundle!!!

I want a someday as my first but ofcourse I will be happy with a healthy child.

Now is where all the more funn comes in .. picking out boy stuff and thinking about color schemes for the room
I am now going to keep an eye out for things and send links to you

yes, def send me any cute stuff you find. For a guideline, I'm kind of anti-traditional when it comes to baby-stuff. No characters, not a fan of baby animals...actually not a fan of straight-up pastels either. Kind of looking for more modern bedding. For example I haven't found boy bedding I like yet, but I did find girl and it was a black and white flourishy/scroll print, with purple piping and accents. It was def. more dramatic then it was 'baby' but I looooooved it. For boy I want playful but not baby-ish....does that make sense?

Yes , it makes sense I hate the stuff you mentioned too about characters and baby animals. I donno why
I will search out unique stuff - b/c that is the way I roll (so gay of me to say) I had to

And I'm not a pink fan either. I can take hot pink but not baby pink. I told my friend that if I had a girl I did not want it to look like pepto bismol threw up at my baby shower. I like PURPLE!
