Usually me. I tend to start dinner and then he takes over when he comes in! He's not really home at the same time every day, so it's hard for me to judge when to start cooking so that it won't be done too early.

He always gets home before me and thinks I am a workaholic. (well, if he got a real job, he would have to work a full day too)

But, anywho..I still cook because I'm better at it. I wish he would do everything else though!

DH usually does by about 15 - 30 mins. We take turns with the cooking though.

That's our problem too. Somtiems I call on my way hone, with a gental ' maybe you should stop playing video games & start the dinner, b/c I 'll b home at 8 & if you wait for me to start it, we won't eat untill tomorrow' reminder.

Tonight, I have to work late, but when we spoke earlier and I told him that I was finally offered the salary I've been negotiating for, he said That's great news, I'll be celebrating by playing some Playstation tonight.

But then I told him as long as he takes notes on tonight's Desperate Housewives, I don't care what he does before 10pm.

DH gets home at 4pm and is usually in the recliner when i get home between 7-8pm

He doesn't get home from work until 12:30 am, so I'm always home before he is and I cook for him...yes, at 12:30 am

depending on the day it varies. if dh doesnt have overtime and is working his regular tour he is home at 1:30 pm and i get home at 4

we commute to and from NYC together, we get home about 7:30 most nights so usually we order take out. Lately to save money we pre-cook meat and stuff on the weekend and then just reheat to prepare a quick dinner. One of us prepares the meal, the other cleans up, that way we each get a chance to relax.

We also try to get our parents to cook for us at least once a week.

We usually get home right around the same time. Sometimes he spends longer at the gym and gets home 15 mins-30 mins after me. We take turns cooking (kind of, but mostly me), but lately have been getting lots of cheap takeout (chinese and pizza) because I am getting really sick of figuring out quick dinners to make.

I'm almost always home first, aside from the nights I have class, when I get home at 10:15 and we eat separately.

About 90% of the time he is home before me. He'll cook on most nights unless he has class that night or has an appointment at night.

I try and cook on weekends, but that doesn't always work out since we usually have family stuff on the weekend.

I get home around 5:15 he gets home around 6:30-7. But as soon as I get home I go to the gym...so by the time I walk in for the night about 7-7:30 he is already home and starting the dinner I took out.
