it was a great day.... we went with my mom to the in-laws...

all was well except for DH's @-hole BIL. He kept making ethnic slurs against germans at the table and criticizing scientists (hmmmmm, wonder who he was going after )

since he's got a neo-con mentality, and I'm a political moderate / academic, he eventually dove to the point where he called me a communist sympathizer Afterwards, it just went downhill

things were fine with the rest of the family, though
