DH sent it return reciept requested yesterday....so we'll see what happens!

heard from them today....they offered to pay half of the bill.....tom wouldn't accept it....so he's going to ask the boss and get back to us in a few days

Lori, I am so sorry, I feel your pain, we went through the same crap with them. I gave up, I just didn't want to waste my time anymore, but I am glad you are going after them. Threaten them with the BBB and tell them you will take them to small claims court if need be.
When I was fighting with them, their idea of compensation to us was.... they sent us a $100 gift certificate to use with them. OK, like I would really use them again, and what the hell is $100 going to get me at their company...a ride to the supermarket?
