Hey Silvana! How was DH's b-day?

too short. we hit major traffic going up (construction ) so we finally checked in around 6 and dinner was at 7. dinner was AMAZING like so yummy, and a full on fancy experience. we were in that windowed room and had a distant view of the Hudson which was just what i wanted. Oh and before dinner we had a couple of drinks at the bar and it was totally fun b/c the bartender - Franco - was a hyper wacko and really into making drinks for everyone.

after dinner, went back to our room and chilled. we hung out by the pool the next day for a few hours and had lunch there... I loved the pool!! it was like being on an awesome vacation - so serene and quiet and yummy food and yummy drinks. I had a momentary lapse of regret, telling DH do you see why i wanted to have our wedding here?!?! But it's all good - it was way out of our price range anyway.

I loved it though but I wish I could have done two nights - couldn't swing it though; as you well know the place is crazy $$$ Sigh... but we will go back someday. It was such a treat!!

Oh i am so so so glad it was good, i have such fond memories of that place, both for our wedding, and my b-day last year

That garden room is dreeeeeeeamy, i love it!!
