Hi everyone!!! Update on Donna and Josh

Spoke to Donna on her lunch break; She and Josh put an offer in on a townhouse last night, so we're praying. They aren't getting wedding album pics any time soon. I guess my next big project might be helping Donna pack!!!!! Mary MOB

How's the scrapbooking, Michelle? I'm still getting great freebies from scrapbookflair; I know it's digital, but I can still print the backgrounds, embellishments, etc. I had a neat time, using my Hallmark Card Studio, to take items from scrapbookflair, arrange the way I wanted, and print. So much fun!!!!
That reminds me, did I tell you gals, what I did with the flameless candles from Donna's Shower ? I bought coordinating, artificial miniature poinsettia chains, to match the ribbon of the candles; I kept four of the burgundy ribboned ones for Donna, and removed and added turquoise ribbon to another four, adding the rhinestone bracelets, and a coordinating mini poinsettia chain , for Debi. I kept four candles for me. But, the neat thing is, I found it easy to remove the ribbon, having used Mighty Mendit glue, and attaching new ribbon, so lots of decorating possibilities, and, for a home with pets, a bit safer way for a non-flameless touch!!!! Turquoise ribbon for Debi. I know you can't actually see the color, but I wanted to show how pretty flameless candles can look. The mini poinsettias were turquoise/sparkly .



Donna had her's in front of their TV. The mini poinsettias were burgundy/sparkly.

The turquoise pillow, is from the BM Gown of one of Debi's BM; She got her gown shortened and had the seamstress make two pillows for Debi, out of the scrap fabric. Have any of you used shower/wedding items and turned them into decorative accessories for your house? Mary MOB
