Hi:

My name is Jennifer and my husband and I got married this past January 17th 2003 at the Riveria in Massapequa. We currently live in Islip, and are redoing our home, which means that unfortunately I can only currently use the computer at my desk at work at lunch. So please forgive me I don't respond right away.

I am hoping to meet some new and interesting people on the site to do fun things with and chat about the issues of life, love, work and being a newlywed. And am very excited about meeting some of you at the GTG on the 12th. I am also game for any Long Island ones anyone wants to do, please just keep me posted. And I am looking forward to hearing from you.

I just checked the link and was almost floored by all of the respones, thank you so much!!! OK, my wedding was on Friday, January 17th 2003 and I got married in the Methodist Church in Islip and we had our Reception as the Riveria. It had slightly snowed that day and was absolutely beautiful. The food, our friends and family were absolutely wonderful and my bridesmaids looked beautiful in a Mori Lee burgandy 2 piece gowns. I decided on 2 piece gowns b/c my bridesmaids were all different sizes and I thought that they would be most comfortable in these. I had floral head pieces made up out at Patchogue Floral Fantasy by Adrienne, who did an exceptional job at a cost of like $25.00 each. And the morning of the wedding we had our hair done up at Regis at the Sunrise Mall. They were fantastic and did updos and then put the headpieces around the updos. Ant they did a GREAT job!!!! The pastor made a few mistakes but otherwise did a great job and everyone had a blast. We honeymooned out of Puerto Rico on the Carnival Destiny. Everything was wonderful............

I love it when a bride is happy after all her planning. Congrats. Who was your photographer?? did you use any vendor from your site. How did you find LIW, how did you come up with your username??

Also where is the Long Island GTG on the 21st?
I have a D.O.T. Garage Sale that I have to help out with, but I am hoping that I can stop by!!!!

Actually, my photographer was Lavender Bridal Studios, they were great. And a friend recommended the site to me. Actually Muffin is my mother's dog's name.......and I love her to death ( both the dog and my mother ) :)
