I've been reading alot of the posts as far as wedding planning goes. I know I have quite a bit of time to plan (re-newing vows in 2011) but what process did you ladies use to plan your weddings? I'm truly stumped and not sure where to begin. My hubby and I have already decided that we want to use the Reception Hall as the place to have our ceremony and reception (im not very religious, even though he is catholic).

I totally agree. Once you get the Hall Booked then you can start working on everything else.
Make Lists. Lots of Lists. That's what I did. Every month or so I updated the List to the new stuff I need to do.
Well I know for a fact having the ceremony and reception in one spot is key. Im not a very religious person so having my ceremony at a church seems odd for me. (grew up a jw). I dont really know the whole process of what happens if I did want to have a 'catholic' wedding. I dont know what colors I want to use my favorite color is blue. So maybe I'll go with that? I dont know, I look at the pictures of other ladies weddings and I am in AWE and intimidated and a little bewildered at all the planning lol!

just take it one step at a time!
do you have your RH booked? think of some other colors that go well with blue... i love blue & ivory!
are you going to have a big vow renewal? think about looking into florists, bands/djs, invites, hair & makeup, dress, officiant, limos, photo/video, etc!
