I just wanted to introduce myself...been lurking for quite a while but decided to finally get my 2 cents in every now and then. I got married last May and I can't help myself...think I still have the post planning blues...pathetic, right?

Hi Amy,
It's not pathetic - it was a lot of work that took lots of time and then one day it's over. You get all this free time you are not sure what to do with at first. Plus being a newlywed romantacizes weddings and marraige for a bit (IMO).

DO you want to share some details about your wedding or maybe some pictures - we love pictures

I was married May 4 - it was the most perfect day! *sigh*. I know I enjoy looking at all y'all pics so I'll try posting some...I'll try to have someone at work scan some proofs for me. I have a few digital pics friends took that I'll try to post too.

Not pathetic. It is still fun to help with wedding planning, and there are so many other places on here for any other advise, etc. All the ladies on here are wonderful.

Shamma is right...I actually am old. I started lurking way back when I was planning. I had read negative stuff about my reception hall (Thatched Cottage), after we had already booked it, and my hubby forbade me from coming back here...I was driving him nuts with the worrying! Anyway, I did hold off from reading the boards for a while, but got back into it once the wedding was over. I think I'm addicted -even though my techical title is only Newbie !!
And by the way...everything at the Thatched Cottage was terrific...all the worrying was for nothing!

Ok, I put some pics on shutterfly - they are digital pics a friend took, so they aren't the best quality. Lets see if this works.
