Hiding Christmas gifts

How are you ladies hiding your gifts for your hubbies?? I can't even leave gifts in the trunk of my car. My DH even goes in there sometimes. It will ruin the surprise!

Re: Hiding Christmas gifts

What about your mom's house or a a friend? My husband is lucky if he finds his keys so I can pretty much put stuff where ever I want He never looks on my side of the closest so I can also hide stuff there or in my drawers.

I'm lucky in the fact that I can leave a bag of presents for him out in the open and he won't look in it. So right now I have a bag with his presents in our bedroom.

He knows better with me though. . . he's got my presents at his mom's house!

Re: Hiding Christmas gifts

My DH doesn't bother to look at all! I hide his under the bed and the rest of the gifts stay in bags all over the apt til we wrap them!

For me, I wouldn't have time to peek - DH shops for me on Christmas eve or, if he's being pro-active, the day before

Re: Hiding Christmas gifts

I keep them at work but he's not too much of a snooper. I think he keeps mine at his brother's house. I don't really snoop - but I tend to stumble upon things and I am a great guesser which gets him upset.

Re: Hiding Christmas gifts

I usually have them sent to my Mom's or I hide them really well in our house ... like in my closet, in a bag with someone else's gift or under the bed. He usually doesn't check those areas. Also, if I think he might come across a bag or two ... I'll wrap them early, so he'll know it's for him but he won't know what it is.

My DH isn't a snooper, but I wrap them right away so he can't see.

Re: Hiding Christmas gifts

We have very defined 'his space' and 'her space' so I just hide them in my closet. Neither of us are snoopers and we both like to be surprised, so that's no problem. It doesn't hurt to wrap them early, so in case he does come across it, he won't know what it is!

Same as Suzanne. Everything gets wrapped since I have no where to hide anything.

Re: Hiding Christmas gifts

I just bought him presents and was wondering the same thing! Then it dawned on me the one place he would never look - the closet with the cleaning supplies!!! That's exactly where they are and I guarantee he will never see them!

Re: Hiding Christmas gifts

My DH is not a snooper at all. I can leave things in bags out in plain site & he would NEVER look. My MIL even says as a kid he didn't go snooping. He likes to be surprised.

You sound just like my sis and BIL. If she tells him not to look, he won't. He somehow hid her ring in their apt for 3 weeks, we were all shocked.

You should buy him something small and wrap it with his name on it and see how long it takes him to find it.

Then again, I'd never find it there either, I'm domestically challenged - I don't do house work

Re: Hiding Christmas gifts

If it is small I put it in my underwear draw
Med size, I put it in one of my Kids closet and if it's big it goes to MIL.
