I live by Forest Hills and it's a really nice neighborhood, it's actuallly right across the 112 precinct. There are a lot of cafe shops- starbucks and B&N right down the block so it's perfect for students who prefer to sip coffee, play with their laptop, read books, etc. At least it's not right next to a mall. I attended Catholic school when I was younger and ended up switching to a public school. Personally, I feel that Catholic schools are a waste of investment (not to trash anyone who knows or have their children enrolled in Catholic schools), a lot of the children end up in an environment that are worse than public schools. Maybe it's the peer groups/influence and the strict regime that the children are placed in whereas public schools are liberal. Have you ever noticed how short the skirts are hemmed up with girls uniforms? It was up to my knee length (this was 89) and today, it's practically a mini-skirt. There's nothing wrong with a short skirt but when you see a drastically shorter than norm skirt (ex, Britney Spears video), it makes you wonder what the hell goes on inside the school??!!!

Both are great schools....more personal attention at Molloy but you pay the price for it.

I graduated from FH many years ago!!! My nephew is a sophomore there now. He transferred from a LI school and I see a major improvement with him since the transfer.
