Highs and Lows for Tuesday

High: DH was invited to his school board meeting tonight so they can officially announce that he got tenure! I feel bad I couldn't be there but I had to work.

Low: Getting put into a headlock at Job #2 by a 6'4 man because he was attempting to kiss me. My neck is not happy.

I probably should have explained that better... my 2nd job is working as the arts and crafts counselor at a recreation program for developmentally disabled adults.

High: Finishing up in the lab an hour before I thought I would

Low: Waking up with a very bad knee pain much worse then the minor ache I went to sleep with...spending the day silently worrying that I am going to have to get a second knee surgery and obsessing over which orthopedic surgeon I want to use since the Dr. that did my original surgery is not covered by my crappy graduate school insurance plan.

High: Blah, not sure there was one, but I guess if I have to choose it was unpacking new clothes from Florida.

Low: Cleaning up after my shift at Ritas, took twice as long since I was with a fairly new girl. Changing trash bags is the worst.

Which reminds me...

Dear annoying lady that bangs on the window:

The curtains are clearly down and all the signs and flags are in, indicating we are closed. The sign on the window says weekdays 12-9pm. So why are you banging on the window at 9:15 and giving me an attitude. I know the lights are still on but did you realize it takes 30 minutes at least to clean up this dessert haven. We have to shut machines off, cover up ice, clean out dip boxes. So just because the lights are on doesn't mean we have the ability or desire to serve you at that time.

Thank you,

Annoyed ice employee.
