Holiday Tipping/presents

Holiday Tipping/presents

Hi Ladies!
For those of you who use a personal trainer, did you tip them or give them a holiday/christmas present?
I always give my super a card with cash, but that's the only person I've given a gift to.
I just realized that perhaps I committed a faux paus - I saw my trainer for the first time yesterday since before the holidays, and it never dawned on me to give her a gift -- I pay a lot of $ for her services.
Was I supposed to?
Should I give her something when I see her next week?
I'd love to hear your thoughts/opinions.
TIA!

I give a bottle of wine or a tin of cookies to my nail and hair people. U could do something small like that w/ a card to thank her for all she's done.

Thanks! I was thinking that maybe I should, but I can't give wine or cookies to my trainer who is always about 'no sugar, no alcohol, eat like a skinny person...'.... what else might be appropriate? I can't think of anything!
I see her again on Thursday. And is it too late?

Oops...of course u can't give your trainer wine or cookies.

It's not too late. Just tell her that you kept forgetting to bring her gift.

Go to Bath and Body Works. They are having their semi-annual sale. U can buy a lotion, shower gel, cool shampoo and conditioner for like $12. (If u really want to get fancy, go to Michael's----Christmas baskets are 80% off so they're like $2.) You'll spend around $15 - $20 and it will be a great gift.

Thanks, great ideas!
Does everyone agree -- I should bring her something?

This might sound totally cheap, but a group of friends and I just exchanged gifts - we do this every year New Year's weekend - and I got some nice stuff, but stuff I just don't use - like Loccitaine soaps, maybe I'll throw those in with a starbucks gift card in a cute bag - do you think that's OK? I know she drinks coffee.

That's PERFECT!! Re-gift! Saves you $$ and gives things that you may not use to people who may use them! Great idea!!
