Ohh yes it its!! Its a scary, exciting thing to buy a house!! We bought a house in a good neighboorhood and good school district and we still questioned our decision but once we closed on the house and moved in we knew this was the perfect house for us!!

Good Luck!

Very normal. We bought in Selden 2.5 years ago and went through the same feelings. We loved the house. We just bought again in Merrick, and it's not as much nerves this time, but believe me they are still there. We are closing this month, and I can't wait. It is true, once you move in and get settled, the nerves disappear. It really is both exciting and a little nerves appear, but don't worry, it just gets better. Good luck with everything and congratulations

Between Rob and I, we kept going back and forth with being all nervous. We began to think about the responsibility that we were getting into and it's a scary thought. Plus, we weren't sure with the housing market and adding on additional expenses and so on. Luckily, our nerves coordinated with each other so when one was nervous, the other was strong.

Don't worry, it's normal and I say most new buyers go through this. If you feel in your heart and gut that this is the house for you, you'll nerves will subside!

Good Luck!

Its called 'buyers remorse' and its totally normal! We are going through the same thing right now (and planning a wedding at the same time) but try not to get stressed. It will all work out and I'm sure you guys will be very happy. And sometimes it helps to tell yourself that 'everything happens for a reason.'

I think this is TOTALLY normal - you are probably making the biggest investment in your life (so far, anyway). It's understandable to be a little nervous.

DH and I were nervous when our offer was first accepted...to the point that our families started to wonder IF we were happy at all about our decision. But, we were happy...just a bit overly cautious b/c we had been burned in the house hunting process and didn't want to 'count our chickens.' Now that we've closed on the house, and we are preparing it for our move-in date, it gets a lot more exciting everyday!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You will soon have a new home! Yay!
