Does anyone have Forced Heating? If so, do you like this? I heard it gets warm fast but then cools down VERY fast... Any info would be great!! thanks!

Re: Home Owners...
My personal opinion is that forced air heat ****s! We are living with it right now at my parents house, and it is way too dry and hot most of the time, and if you have small rooms (like a bathroom for instance) you have to leave the door open all the time otherwise it gets like a sauna w/o the steam in there. It's enough to make me gasp for air! We keep a small humidifier running in the bedroom at night and that helps.
But, if your house is all hooked up for central heating and air, there's not much you can do except to have your AC company install a humidifier unit on the central system to try and pump moisture into the air.
I prefer hot water heat....it's more consistent and never as dry.

Re: Home Owners...
I have it in my new house- and so far, I have not had any problems. One thing is that you need to keep the vents very clean (take off the wall plates and vacum inside) so that there is min. dust. But I didn't have a choice- it was already installed in the house. The oil guy said it burns less fuel so that is a plus. Also, depending on where your theramstate is different rooms (in all heating types) will be colder or warmer. That is why different zone heating is so great.
