It feels like I'm swallowing glass!!!!!! I have my normal doctors check-up Friday morning.....do I bother switching it today?? What does everyone do for sore throats?

Call your Dr and switch your appointment.
In the meantime - do you have throat spray at home? It'll numb your throat and it won't feel so bad

My mom always told me to gargle with salt water. I hope you feel better soon. You might as well switch the appointment, they can't do a check up if your sick. Explain to your dr, you have a huge presentation on friday!

I was VERY proned to sore throats growing up...
I got them often throughout college. THE BEST way to relieve them is hot ramen noodles (YUMMY)
hot tea with honey & lemon is very good too.
you can gargle with salt water... but its kinda gross.
works tho.

salt water and those numbing throat losenges-you will feel you have no tongue but it helps!
