Honeymoon Help-Hawaii

We got married 5/5 and are finally on our way to our honeymoon. We're going to Hawaii next week and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for our brief stay in Oahu, then our more extended stay in Maui and Kauai.

Thanks!!

Go to Dukes in Oahu !!! (it's at the Outrigger hotel) We were in Hawaii for 12 nights & our BEST meal was there.......waiting for a seat outside is so worth it too !

The Old Lahaina Luau in Maui was alot of fun too !

No matter what you do you'll have a great time ! Enjoy !

I assume you're looking for restaurants? Here are my recommendations:

Maui:
Mama's Fish house is awesome.
The menu changes every night depending on the fish that they caught that day. My husband dropped his credit card through the slats in the floor boards (everything for the rest of the trip was booked on this card). They got their maintenance crew to tear up the floor boards the next day and we drove back to pick it up. We could have just cancelled it! But their service was wonderful and they insisted.

We also loved David Paul's Lahaina Grill (on Maui) - expensive but the best meal we had in Hawaii- and the food was really amazing everywhere. They asked us if we were celebrating anything special and we told us it was our honeymoon. They brought us a free dessert with a card signed by the staff, and they took our picture and emailed it to us. Great service and great food- I really really recommend it.

We also had a wonderful meal at I'O in Lahaina- right on the beach as the sunset- it was awesome. I'O Maui

It's sister restaurant is Pacific'O which I think is also great.

I would NOT recommend the Hula Grill- the food wasn't very good and it was packed, but it does have a great location right on the beach (but the seating there is limited).

If you're looking for things to do in Maui we loved the watching the sunrise on top of Haleakala volcano (but it was freezing so bring something warm to wear) and driving the road to Hana. We also spent part of a day having a picnic at Maui's winery which was great and we sailed on the America II.

Oahu:
I'm not sure where you're staying on Oahu. We stayed at the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore and we had fantastic dinners at 21 Degress North (one of the highest rated restaurants on the island) and Ola- both within the Turtle Bay Resort. 21 Degrees North is a little more fancy and pricey (but great) and Ola was more casual, literally right on the beach and had awesome seafood- we ate there twice because we liked it so much. We actually had some great relaxed, and less pricey lunches at Lei Lei's and the Hang Ten bar and grill, also at Turtle Bay. We didn't spend any time near Waikiki, so I can't give you any recommendations there, sorry.

Ola

We didn't do much in Oahu other than sit on the beach and go to Pearl Harbor.

If you like seafood you will be in heaven in Hawaii. It is sooooooooooo good everywhere, especially the Ahi. Have the best time. I'm so jealous- I would love to go back!

ITA!!!

My favorite place in Kauai was the Plantation in Poipu. The food and atmosphere were great and the prices were fairly reasonable for Hawaii.

The restaurants at the Hyatt are also very good, as is the restaurant at the Princeville.
