honeymooning with rings?

Just wondering if you guys wore your rings on your honeymoon. I was thinking about just getting a plain band to wear because I am afraid I am going to lose my rings. What did you guys do?

I left my rings home on the advice of others, but if I were to do it over I would have worn them.

I wore my e-ring and wedding band the entire trip. My fingers did get a little smaller in the ocean and when I went snorkeling - I was holding onto them for dear life!

I wore them, I also have a plain white gold band that I interchanged but I had no problem with either of them slipping. Gary on the other hand was trying to 'shake' his off in the ocean! I was ready to choke him!

I wore both rings for our HM - we put my ering on insurance a while back, so I wear it everywhere

I wore both my rings, the entire time!!! I was nervous with them, but I could never take them off!

I unwillingly left mine home also with my MIL. My DH wouldn't let me take them! I was so upset until I ran into a newley wed from Penn. that lost her e-ring snorkling! I was glad after that that I left mine home, safe and sound! I did borrow a plain gold ring to wear as my wedding band for the HM (my FIL owns a jewlery store) but ended up leaving it home in the rush to get ready for the wedding! My advice in this long post is leave it at home. YOu will never forgive yourself if you lose it. I'd never trust the hotel safe either as a sure thing! Better be safe than sorry!

I am planning to wear mine, but all things considered, we are going to MAINE of all places... I'm not too worried!

I think it depends where you are going...we went to Tahiti, which for all intents and purposes, was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us. I left my e-ring and diamond w-ring w/my Mom. I didn't want to take any chances on losing my rings, and never being able to return to find something that was lost. (Maybe that's a silly rationale, but...) I just wore my plain gold band, and I am still happy that I did.

Thanks girls...I think I may leave them home. I tend to lose everything. We are going to Hawaii and I am just so afraid that I will lose them in the water

I wore both.

I left my ering in the hotel safe by day but wore my diamond wedding band.
At night I wore both to dinners.

Thats what insurance is for and even though my ring is more impt. than the $ i wasn;t worried

I wore both rings the entire trip. The only time I didnt wear them was when we went to the water park.

DH and I both got plain white gold bands to use. We went to Costa Rica too and did so many adventurous things that I'm glad I didn't have to worry about them (even with the insurance on them I'd still be destroyed if something happened to them). We like having these bands so that we can wear them we we do sporty things or travel to other places and not have to worry. I'd say don't bring them if you can.

I wore both, but left my E-ring in the safe after I got thrown from this tube ride in Aruba that had me sailing through the air and catapulting into the ocean!!!! I was more worried about my ring than holding my breath and almost sent my hubby home a widower after two days of marriage!!!!

I only wore my plane wedding band, and left my e-ring at home!
