can anyone recommened nice but not too expensive hotels (around $150 a night) in Rome and Florence?

DH & I went to Rome ... not our HM .. & loved it! We stayed at Palazzo Colonna which I highly recommend for 3 reasons:
1- reasonable rates ... breakfast every morning was included & this was a good breakfast. (not like the continental breakfasts some European hotels serve) 2- Authentic Italian, excellent service, very clean, private bath!!
3- LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Right on the Via del Corso, this hotel was steps away from everything!!
... as you can tell I'm DYING to go back! fm me for our travel agent's info .. she was great at putting this package together!
