hotels in the hamptons

a friend from out of town (PA) wants to stay in the hamptons for a weekend and asked if I knew of any reasonable hotels.

i have no clue so I figured you ladies could help. Any recommendations?

(I asked if they had a specific part of the hamptons but they are clueless about it...so I guess anywhere is okay)

We just stayed out in Montauk...in my opinion better than the hamptons because you dont get all the snobs! LOL But we stayed in the Ocean Beach Resort...you literally walk out onto the beach from your room.....cant beat that!

Sole East in Montauk and Montauk Yacht Club are both nice.

I don't think the words reasonably priced and Hamptons go together. I did some research on this for our anniversary and I decided it was just to pricey.
