Spoke to our lawyer today and she said that she spoke with the listing agent, who told her that the seller called her in a panic, telling her about the letter from our lawyer and a nasty letter from her lawyer, both basically saying that she had to be out by the 15th of April.
She actually asked the agent 'do you think they mean it?' The agent told her 'Absolutely!' So... Easter weekend isn't the easiest time to do something, but lets pray she makes a decision and signs a lease on an apartment on Saturday so we don't have to start the legal process - I'd much rather spend the money on furniture instead of court and additional legal fees.
At least we're making progress - I think she finally realizes she really does have to get out of the house!

What a horrible situation
Hopefully this doesn`t go to court and you don`t incur extra legal fees, but if it did .. can you add those costs into the lawsuit?
The things people do (or don`t do) never ceases to amaze me!

House closing update...I cant believe some people
Sorry this is happening Karen. Does she think you really want to just buy the house and let her live in it forever! Get a clue and grow up already. Hopefully she got her wakeup call.
