My best friend and I are both house hunting with our DHs. . . we both love the same areas - and we're both using the same real estate agent. (a family friend of mine)
I emailed my RE agent some houses that I wanted to look at on Saturday - and she tells me she is already taking my best friend and her hubby to look at the SAME HOUSES.
She jokingly asked if I wanted to come but I told her I'd rather go on Sunday.
I hope we don't fall in love with the same house or something LOL.
That would be horrible

OMG, yeah that would make me nervous! Does your friend know you're going to look at the same one? It would just s*ck if you both fell in love with the same house.

Umm - not the same taste - but they just started looking - so I don't know if they really know 'their taste' yet.
I love them to pieces and hope that we are neighbors LOL - but wouldn't that be horrible?!!?

Can you try not to look at the same houses? I know it sounds silly BUT our closest friends actually lied and told us that they put a bid on a house that they never did just so we wouldnt follow up on it. Since we found out about that it has been a bit uncomfortable bc they dont know we know, and they still talk about their bid being rejected and not accepting the counter offer. . .
so from now on i am not looking at houses they show interest in. . . but we are casually looking so we have that option.

but how would we NOT look at the same houses? I kind of feel like that would be hard too. Same price range, same neighborhood - its kind of bound to happen.
But who knows. . . I wouldn't let it turn into a fight or anything, I just feel like it would be akward. I hope we fall in love with 2 different houses down the block from eachother

it seems like you/keith are all set to make an offer. since they are just starting, maybe they aren't in the same position? it can be a challenge, but you girls are good friends and will work it out. how cool would it be to live around the block from each other?? try not to worry about it.....right now you need to find a house without termites! btw, if you want i hear wantagh has an open house waiting for you...lol.
