household objects that double as ornaments

Ok so we got our first decent size tree!
We always had a tiny one, so now we need more ornaments.
Yes I will buy some new ornaments, but any creative ideas out there?

we always did cranberry and popcorn strands. . those are pretty! ribbons and bows can work too. ..frosted sugar cookies can work if you shellac sp? them. . make sure you cut the holes first before baking. . hmm. .underwear ?? just kidding but I think some lacy undies might make it a merry xmas. .

Wineglasses for bells. Sounds weird but yes, it can be done.

You can decorate the glass and hang it one the tree for oversized bells. I don't do this but I saw this done and it's kinda cool!

this is so not a real suggestion but after my parents got divorced (my dad was jewish, mom catholic) he still wanted to have a tree so we got an xmas tree and decorated it with bagel halves - frosted, covered with gum drops, red hots etc. . then hung them with string. . then called it our chanukah bush! very funny! it did look kind of pretty though

that is too funny. I just put the menorah next to the tree...but I am like the card idea and the gum drops.
I tried to put the lights on tonight and stopped because I have no idea what I am doing.
