How about a question for today ..... 2/24

Do you and you DH have many interests in common? What do you like to do together? What do like to do by yourself or w/gf's?

Our ONLY common interest is travel. I mean really - that is it! We still do almost everything together because we like to spend time with each other but interests like crafts and such are done alone and his interest in sports are enjoyed by himself.

Edited to add: We both like rollar coasters too :D

We don't have many common hobbies, those we do ourselves. But we have similar ideas of how to have fun, so that's how we connect.

The only thing we have in common is our taste for good living. We love to go out to eat at nice restuarants. And both our tasted lean towards things on the expensive side. Which is good because one never has to justify why something is worth x amount of dollars.
We also seem to like/dislike the same kinds of people. Also good, because we have no problems with any of our friends getting along.

In terms of hobbies though...not a thing.

We're with Stef on the travel interest - though thats one I've cultivated in him.

What else? dancing, wine, cooking together, snowboarding (though he's much more extreme)...

Me and frank have SO much in common, we both love going to musuems, the park, the zoo... We both love video games, have the SAME interest in movies, we both like to shop...We like the same foods the same colors...

things we dont have in common are Music and he likes more MODERN furniture and im more traditional!! LOL thats all i can think of!

We do everything together really, watch TV, food shop, cook, etc. He doesn't like to go to the movies or clothes shop so I usually do that with GF's. We enjoy going to Met/Ranger games together, going out with friends, renting movies (although sometimes our taste in movies differs), playing PS2 together (he does that more than I though), vacationing. I enjoy doing crafts which he obviously doesn't like to do and decorating (which he hates to do and would live in a place with bare walls and be OK with that! )

We love to travel, whether its by plane, train or automobile, he did not travel as much until he met me, I guess I brought it out in him

We love to surf the web

We love to try new restaurants

I love to read he doesn't, evn tho he likes when I read my novels to him when we are stuck in traffic

We love watching basketball and boxing together

I think that's it.

I love shopping, he doesn't

I love Lifetime he doesn't

I am anal about everything house related, he isn't

I love to do laundry he doesn't

We both don't like to cook, we do it b/c we have to. I only like to cook food that I enjoy to eat and that is usually breakfast

We both like grocery shopping

we're travel freaks also. Even after coming home from a 2 week HM, I'm still dying to go away .... thank goodness for the travel channel ... gives me the high w/o breaking the bank!

We like to cook together ... well, honestly we both like to cook but, together, that not really truthful. He does things his way & I like my way better. So we take turns.

We like to eat out alot & socialize ... I love a crowd, love to entertain.

We like to go to Yankee games, but he gets to go more than I .. a work thing.

We like Broadway, although our tastes are different. I like drama as much as a musical & will see more cutting edge shows ... he can't stand anything he's got to think too much about.

We've got our differences, of course, but that's what keeps it interesting, I think. I'd be so bored if we had nothing to talk about except what we like about each other!

Common Interests/Things we do together: We both like to entertain and go out with friends (and are both excessive organizers in this respect), both like to eat, both love the beach, both like reality tv, love baseball and fantasy baseball (although different teams), love vacations (but we do have some $$ differences there), and when in the mood we both like to shop but often go our own way once we get to the mall.

I guess I like surf the net and playing video games and when he is home - he likes neither (esp. this website - lol). I also like to cook and bake but I much prefer to do this alone.

He loves all sports and can watch sportcenter 24-7. I do enjoy sports but not nearly to that extreme. He loves wrestling and I despise it - can't even be in the same room when it is on. Also he loves the gym. I don't go at all - so not into fitness (wish I could!). I love when he goes to the gym and I have my alone time!

James and I have a few common interests, but for the most part, we each do things with the other, and then as long as we're spending time together, it's still fun. For example, DH is a sports freak, so he LOVEs when I go with him to games - because to him, it's the best of both worlds.

We also really enjoy going out to new restaurants, so we try to do that often.

There's also a ton of things we each like to do separately - like my Lifetime fix while he's surfing the web - but we're still in the same room together. Now that's the best of both worlds!

We mostly do things together to be together. He loves to shop and travel. I like to stay home and I am starting to come around on the shopping thing.

We both like surfing the web which is not something we can really do together esp since he is not a big fan of LIW

I like doing crafty things and reading, DH would rather paint a room or rearrange a closet.

We met due to our primary interest at the time......Carshows!

We have alot of the same interests in common i.e. generic things like bowling, racing at Riverhead, wave running, travel, camping, mini-golfing, waterparks, etc. But our musical tastes took a little adjusting to be considered 'in common'. He liked poppy-sticky teenie bopper music from the 80's/early 90's like Vanilla Ice (ick!!), Milli Vanilli, etc. Then he went to the total extreme of liking things like Dave Matthews/Reba McIntyre/Jazz. Meanwhile I liked a whole spectrum of music (Rap/Heavy Metal/Classic Rock/Country/New Wave/Hip Hop/House). I opened him up to a whole world of music (beyond his Madonna CD's). He really thought The Door's was an up and coming band

The things we have in common now that I feel are essential to the growth and development of our marriage are: same political/religious beliefs, same ideals concerning raising a family, same sense of humor, same decorating style, same goals. On alot of aspects of our life, it's like someone split us at birth. We laugh at the same stupid things and find the most immature things funny - things that others would be like 'HUH?'. b

We are both 'home' people and not 'club' people. We both like to travel and enjoy going to new places together. We both love our kitty cat.

Scott loves sports. I hate them and think that 99.9% of them are just plain dumb. I love country music, he hates it but he did take me to Rodeo Days in WY 2 years ago sooo I cannot complain.

We both like watching Trading Spaces and 24, but I am on my own when it is time for ER.

So while we do stuff together we also have own interests and it seems to work out just fine.

We both like hockey,baseball,reading,staying home sometimes and renting movies.We both like to entertain and have family and friends over.We both like to go to Atlantic City sometimes or go out to dinner once in a while.
We have a lot in common.Its unbelievable.
Our differences are he likes football.I hate it.
He loves Led Zeppelin.I don't.
He plays drums sometimes.I have no musical ability whatsoever.
