I hope everyone had a great day. I hosted my 1st one this year! I had 6 people and I only had a few mishaps like forgetting to make the stuffing!! Oh well, we had a lot of fun and I am glad its over.

I hosted Thanksgiving this year and it went GREAT!!!! The turkey came out YUMMY, and everyone had a great time.

I was away in New Orleans, it was ok, I gave thanks tho' b/c I was fortunate to be with family and friends.

I was so exhausted I don't remember it! But hubby's family all said they had a great time.
We had ripped out molding and door trim back in October and were still finishing the painting and renovations right up until Tuesday night - Wednesday was the clean and cook marathon getting ready for 11 of hubby's family on T-day.
The best surprise of the day was hubby's 18 year old cousin - he stepped up to the sink and did all the hand washing while I dried and put away. What a sweetheart.
Worst part was 'dicing' my thumb instead of the onion when I looked up to see something on the parade - Ooowwww!

Teri - yes, it's fine. Thanks for asking! Fortunately my thumbnail stopped the knife before it went in too far, and it sliced on an angle, so no stitches needed.
