How did you choose which pictures for your albums??

We still havent been back to make our albums due to all that is going on in our lives. I was just wondering, how did you pick out the pictures you wanted for your album? Like, did you group them first, you, him, bo, family, etc....

I dont know how many I should have of each, how many is too many of the entire bp and things like that. I have some that I know just have to be in there but obviously we cant have them all. I just dont know what we should be including and about how many of each. Any advice?

first i got rid of all the reject photos that I knew were not going to go in. Then I picked the photos I liked best. The majority of the photos were of us as a couple, some shots of me solo from the house, with my parents, etc. then a few from the ceremony, my family, his family, a group shot of the bm, a group shot of the gm and 1 full shot of the entire bridal party.

There are a number of threads about this topic but bascially I think you should group into time order, get rid of the ones you don't like, look 'fat' in , hate the person in the photo etc..., next begin to select moments from you day that truly reflect the emotions and memories of the day.

I used mini-colored sticky notes to put on the backs of the photos I was considering (and each Mom also had her own color) so that I could keep them in order and continue to move my selections around.

First I picked out the ones I really loved. Then I narrowed them down by choosing the ones that told the story of the day. Finally I picked the best, most flattering shots that told the perfect story.

It took me a long time to get my album together.

We also had a hard time deciding but if you seat both parents down and pass the photos from person to person and someone writes down the proof numbers it would be easier. We had some proofs that were very similar but we put it side-by-side to compare and choose the best and use the process of elimination to write down the best proof chosen. That's what we did.

We used Cassarino Studios for BOTH photography and videography.

I also haven't picked my pics. for my album yet either. IT'S SO HARD TO DECIDE!!! Did everyone here pick mostly pics. of you and your hubby, and family? Did you pick many pics. with guests??

I had a hard time picking pictures. They all are so beautiful. I ended up adding pages to my album so I can have all the ones I want.
