how did you display your donation favor?

help me newlyweds!
I would like to donate both to the liver foundation (in honor of my uncle who recently passed away) and to breast cancer for fh's aunt who is a survivor. Any idea on how i can word this, so it doesnt sound morbid for his aunt? Also, any idead or pics on how you guys displayed your donation? I saw these really cute donation cards that almost look like coasters, that is hung around the bottom of each champagne glass on the table...but I just dont want too much on the tables. We already have cp, votives, tables # in a frame....help!

I did a donation card. One per guest and we asked the RH to put one at each place setting with a chocolate filled box favor on top. Let me find a pic for you...

Yep, we had one menu at each place setting also. We had them 'stand' the menu up against the water glasses.

Then the donation card and chocolate box were on the bread plate on the table (obviously no bread on it).

Here are some pics:

Here's a shot where someone took the donation card (so you can see what it was placed on)

Here's the menu

Re: how did you display your donation favor?

i donated to the heart and lung transpant at the hospital where my mom got her lung transplant from.. so we baked heart shaped cookies in honor of it and i made my own tags and printed thank you on the top and this on the other side...
A donation has been made in your honor.
As most of you know, the brides mother Marie M---- received the gift of a life time, a double lung transplant on December 1, 2006. However, in the following months, money was very difficult. This is the case for most lung transplant patients. Some prescriptions cost thousands of dollars for just one month supply. These patients are faced with such a hard road, and then to not be able to afford the medicines, or food to keep them alive, is just not fair. So we created a fund, along with Mt. Sinai hospital, to help these patients in their time of need. We promise to donate to this fund every anniversary.
Thank you for sharing our day with Us!
Love,
Heather & Kyle M-------
