How did you find this site?

I found it when I was doing a google search on the reception site I ultimately chose. How did you find this site?

same here! I found info on Douglaston Manor and joined just to stalk some previous DM brides for their feedback!!

A friend told me, but I didn't discover the whole CHAT thing til after the wedding! I'm sad I didn't have all of you b4 the wedding but I'm glad I found it! Better late then never!

I used to read the knot message boards for LI and they'd mention LIW every once in a while so I decided to check it out... well now I'm addicted & I haven't been back at the knot since then!

I found it when trying to leave a bad review for one of my vendors who happened to be really awful! I wanted other brides to beware.

I was constantly looking at vendors for RH's and a girl I worked with used to post on her and she got me addicted!!!!

When I first got engaged my mom was googling reception sites and LIW came up. She told me it looke like it may be helpfel so I joined. I didn't find the boards for a few months after I joined though.

My SIL told me about the Knot, but then when I showed my LandLady at the time, my Ring, that is when she told me about LIW, she was on it, & is now on LIF.

That is the Only Thing I can Thank her For

DH introduce me to this site...he was searching for a wedding location in LI area and he found this....and I ended up being so addicted to it that I sign up as a member!!

my mom actually sent me the link when I first got engaged. I looked at it briefly and never went back on, I was just so busy with other things & I had no idea what it was really about. I wish I would have known. I didn't end up signing up until 1 month before the wedding better late than never
