How did you find your realtor?

How did you find your realtor?

DH and I are planning to begin our house hunt in January - we're tired of being renters and throwing our $ in the garbage! I want to work with someone who handles the western Suffolk area ie: Commack, Dix Hills, etc. but am just not sure how to find someone good/reliable. Any reco's? TIA!

I dont know anyone in suffox but I used to work for a Coldwell Banker in Queens. I would go with one of the chains like that or ,Remax or Century 21. They have offices and contacts all over.

Thanks! I saw Coldwell as the contact name of a bunch of listings on msli.com. I will likely start with those big names!

We used a realtor that good friends of ours used and we LOVE him. He is absolutely wonderful. he works in Ronkonkoma. If you want his info please let me know!
