leave it in the redfirdge for about a day.. then take it out about 30 minute before you are going to eat it

if you thinks its ready you dont have to take it out 30 min before

I did the same thing. And, YES, I know I have been married for only 5 weeks. We didn't get to eat much of it on that day and we couldn't wait. It was delicious.

Ours was wrapped very well and still tasted awful! I took it out 1 day before also.

I think my dad took it out of the freezer about 2 days before into the fridge. It actually was delicious.

we didn't do anything to preserve our caketop - just jammed it in the back of the freezer in the cardboard box it came in :) I took it out of the freezer and put it in the fridge two days before our anniversary. On our anniversary, I took it out of the fridge when I got home and left it out until DH came home later that night. I was expecting freezer burn gag cake, but it was DELICIOUS!
So, I would recommend the 2 day fridge/2 hours on the counter method

Thanks everyone! I am hoping that is tastes good, cause we didn't get to have any on the day of the wedding! :(

put mine in the fridege for a day. Ours was YUMMY!!!!
