How do you change your name on a passport?

Also, can you change your name on your license b/4 social security, is there a certain order?

I think you send in your old passport and original marriage certificate. You can get the form from the post office - it's probably on line too.

I don't think you need to have your new social security card to change your passport- just your marriage certificate.

You get your marriage certificate back and your original passport back with an addendum with the new name.
