We don't really eat meat...except for chicken and turkey..so I found turkey chops at the grocery store.
I've never cooked pork chops (or any meat before) so I'm wondering how to cook these? I don't want to bread them though..
TIA!!

Re: How do you make porkchops?
I either sautee them, or I make fried pork chops. Once in a while I figure something fried wont kill us.

Re: How do you make porkchops?
I grill mine. I stuff the pork chops with garlic, add salt, pepper and squeeze lemon over it. Then I just grill it and cook with red onions and green peppers, so very simple. I call it Mis chuletas

Re: How do you make porkchops?
INGREDIENTS 4 pork chops salt and pepper to taste 1 pinch garlic salt, or to taste 1 onion, chopped 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste. In a large skillet, brown the chops over medium-high heat. Add the onion and mushrooms, and saute for one minute. Pour cream of mushroom soup over chops. Cover skillet, and reduce temperature to medium-low. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes, or until chops are cooked through.

Re: How do you make porkchops?
That's funny, I made them last night I sprayed a pan with olive oil spray, put the chops in and sprayed them, added pepper and a little rosemary and baked them for about 20-30 (?) minutes at 350. Very easy...(the olive oil spray keeps them from drying out). I served them w/mashed pot and green beans and applesauce

Re: How do you make porkchops?
i quicky brown them for color but i like to saute them or bake them. pork chops can be dry and tough if you dont cook them either slowly on a lower heat OR fast on a higher heat

Re: How do you make porkchops?
I like to marinate them in one of those Ken's marinades. I like the hawaiian one for pork. I soak them for a minimum of 30 minutes then either bake them or put them on the grill pan.

I dip mine in egg & breadcrumbs, then brown in butter & finish in the oven. Freaking delicious. If you have sage in the house, add to the breadcrumbs for an awesome extra flavor boost.
