How far in advance did you take out your cake to defrost?

How far in advance did you take out your cake to defrost?

Can u tell I cannot wait to get this out of the freezer? We are going away for our anniversary and want to gulp, eat it when we get back 3 days later, I am so afraid it is going to taste

My anniversary was this past Saturday; I took the cake out of the freezer and put it in the fridge Saturday AM, left to go stay overnight in the city. We came home Sunday afternoon, I kept it on the counter for a couple of hours, then ate it that night. I'm sure it will be fine in the fridge. I ate it, but I can't say I enjoyed it!!!

How could I forget.....besides, I remember how wonderful it felt when others remembered our 1st anniversary!

Where are you going?

We took our cake out in the morning and left it on the counter for a few hours. We then put it in the fridge while we went out to dinner and ate it that evening.

we took ours out of the freezer and in the fridge on Saturday and ate it on Monday...it wasn't half bad! It is suprising how many cards you get but like my sister-in-law said....Enjoy because you won't get this many cards again until your 10 year!!

We are going to Mystic, Ct for the weekend. I am excited to just get away. I have never been there. Has anyone been there? We plan on gong to the aquarium and maybe Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun and some shopping.

plan on going to the casinos- mystic gets boring pretty quick - my FI lives one town over

the acquarium is nice though
