How long....

did it take all of you to get your Thank You cards written and out?? My Wedding was only a few weeks ago but I am starting to get nervous that I haven't even started them yet....... TIA

Um I desigend them and then had to wait till they all came in but I'd say had em all done and out within a month.

About a month and a half. Only a month if you don't count the time we were on the honeymoon

I haven't even gotten my proofs yet and our wedding was just over a month ago.

Once we get our proofs we have to choose the pic for the thank you and put in the order. Don't know how long it takes to get them once you put in the request.

Then I'll have to write them all out and mail them. And considering Thanksgiving is next week and Christmas, my birthday, New Year's, and DH's birthday are all within days of each other at the end of the year, I don't think mine will be out before early '08.

Does that make you feel better??

Don't feel like a loser. I got married in May, and just started sending them out. Hello, 6 months later.Talk about loser But they came out beautiufl, and we had some stuff happenin. Priorities first. And besides, I've been to a few wedding around the same time as mine, and haven't recieved Thank You's yet either. So I don't feel so bad!!

DITTO!!!!!!!!!!

My wedding was in JULY and I still havent gotten them out!
I actually wrote about 90% of them over a MONTH ago but I just never finished the last few and I wont mail them out until every last one is complete.
Also, it only took me about 3 hours to write 75 of them. So it's really NOT as bad as you think!
Don't sweat it! Your family understands. It's a hectic time!

I havent even picked out my thank you pictures yet, we are doing it over the weekend and then starting to f ill out the cards and waiting on the pictures. I hope to have them out by mid to late December.

What is the rule of thumb generally with thank yous anyone know.

We picked our thank you card photo a week ago. So, we are waiting for our thank you cards. We know that they will be sent before our 1st year anniversary.

You have up to a year to get your TYs out, tho most brides do it within 6 months. I got mine out in 5 months. Don't worry about it!!

please girl! u are in GREAT shape! i wrote all of mine out within a month, but then they sat on top of my fridge for another 5 'cause i was procrastinating paying for the postage lol. Anytime before a year is really fine. i sent mine out about 4 or 5 months later

Thank goodness . . me neither!!! My dad just said my aunt wants to know where they are. Um, the photographer is on LI and it's not as though as I live right around the corner. To do list for the holiday weekend.
