We were married on 9/22 and got our license in NYC (Manhattan) How long did it take most of you to receive your certificate?
Ours was here when we got home from our honeymoon. We were married on 9/23 and it was here by 10/1 so only about a week. I have heard it can take up to 3 weeks depending on where you got it from. I think NYC takes a bit longer than some towns on LI.
We also had ours by the time we can back from the honeymoon and we live in NC. So it was quick. But maybe for NYC it does take longer.
We got ours in less than a month. It was much faster than I thought it would be.
