It has been a little over 6 months, and the videographer told me it would be ready in 3 to 4. He says he is backed up and is waiting for people to approve edit changes. I am getting a little nervous. I was never too worried about him until now. What is the average wait time?
With photography and videos, it normally takes awhile. I got married in June 08 and it took til Dec to get the edit video, my raw video was not ready til Feb. It depends on who you're working with particularly for popular companies. If they do 4-5 weddings per month, it is very likely they will get backed up with the photos and video. I know it can get frustrating, I was anxious to get mine as well. Don't worry, give it another month or two and if you still don't hear from them then go in person.
I just dropped off my stuff and they told me 6-8 months but mind you it's already been 4 months since my wedding
Well let's see...i will be married one year next month and i will not be getting my video til Novemberish. They needed honeymoon pics and they somehow didn't get to the videographer...so instead of starting to edit, they waited for the pics to start any production. So not thrilled lol
I got mine in 2 months but we didn't give him an instructions. We told him to pick all the songs and do whatever he wants.
i actually just handed in my song list and pictures for the video. they told me about 3-4 months. so let's hope they are right!!
