How long did it take you at the SS office?

How long did it take you at the SS office?

Long story, I can't mail my stuff in, I have to go in person.

I have tomorrow mornig off, I can go the 48th stree office. How long do you think I'll be there. I have to be at work by 12:30.

well i went to the one in Patchogue and I was in and out- I say 10 minutes-painless

That sucks that you had to wait that long. I went at 3:30 just as they were closing(4pm) and I was suprised that it wasnt busy

I'd say I was in the one in Huntington for about an hour.

OK, an hour I can deal with. I am debating betwen

A) going when they open & then trying to hit the dmv

B)sleeping late, then going as late as I can to still make it work at 12:30

C)going when they open & then going to get a haircut afterward.

I went at 3 p.m. to the Huntington office(they close at 4) and I waited no more than 20 minutes.

I went at 9am (freeport) took me an hour.

My PLAN had been to do what you want to do in (A) scenario but the lady at SS told me it took overnight for the info to donwload and not to got to DMV until the next day (who knows if that's true).
