What is the standard time to get your TY's out? We are waiting to put a wallet size picture in our TY's and most of our friends sent out TY's with no picture a few weeks after the wedding. I am starting to feel the pressure to get them out!!
As soon as they came in I got them right out in 2 days.
I think it took about 2 months after the wedding.

We still havent sent them out..Im almost done writing them out. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll be done.

we are sending our out. We are half way there. I think once you get your proofs, try to decide quickly and order the cards. Then it is just a matter of sitting down and doing them.

DH and I had agreed to split them I am done with my half, but he's only done ten of his. I don't want to put mine in the mail without sending all of them out, b/c I don't want anyone to be offended if they hear that others already got tycards. And I don't want to cave and do his half. But now it's bordering on rude and they really have to go out. Ugh.

It took a while for us to get the pics for the TY's. We sent them out within 4 months

Us too. We got proofs after a month, picked the TY pic, took about a week for TY pics to arrive, then a week or so to write them.

I wrote mine out the week after the wedding... 2 months later, I received my pictures and they went out the next day

I believe 3 months is acceptable. Mine didn't go out until around 6 months!

I just send mine out so alittle under 4 months. I think if you are sending photos it depends on your photographer. It took me 6 weeks to get my proofs and then 3 weeks to get the thank you pictures.

I sent mine out this week...5 1/2 weeks. We ordered very nice c'est papier thank yous that matched our invites. We will be giving wallet size pictures to people we want to later on b/c personally I hate it when people wait several months to send out a thank you.

We got married 11/8 and I thought it would be weird to have time to do Christmas cards but not TY's. So I lit a fire under my photographer to get the TY pics done and we had them out before Christmas.
