How long did take your dress to be preserved?

I brought my dress in to be preserved, and they told me to come back in July to pick it up? Is that an insane amount of time? Is this normal? Its my local drycleaner (who I trust completely!!!). Just seems like a long time......

That does seem like a long time..but I sent mine out, I think it took a couple of weeks to get it back if I remember correctly, I sued wedclean. Well if you trust yoru cleaner..everything should be fine. Is it possible that he sends it out?

Some drycleaners send it out, but they usually tell you that they are. I havent had mine done yet, but when I took my sisters wedding gown in to be preserved, they sent it out and it took about 3 months.
