How long for proofs??

Hi ladies!

I got married two weeks ago today. I haven't heard from my photographer or videographer.

I don't want to call them and be a pest but how long did you until you got your poofs and your video?

There is a big thread that has tons of answers on this question.

My proofs were ready before i got back from my honeymoon - so less than 2 weeks. It should not take very long to get film developed at a pro lab.

Video took a lot longer since we had to go back there and see the raw footage, etc.. and then they had to do all the editing - so that takes time. I didnt get my edited video for more than 6 months after the wedding.

A Cassarino bride?

We got married in August 2002, our proofs were ready for pick-up in mid-September 2002. About 4-5 weeks. If you were a Cassarino bride like me they take FOREVER to get their proofs returned as well as your albums and enlargements. Our albums were ready in July 2003 upon our final balance paid in full in October 2002.

Good luck. Contact your photographer to check the status, also check your contract to see what the time frame says for the proofs to be ready.

We used Patken, and the proofs were ready within 3 weeks. We were married on 7/3/03, and honeymooned during the week of July 20th. The photographer called during the week of the honeymoon to let us know that the proofs were ready.

mine took 4 weeks, as it said in the contract. what does your contract say?
