Honeymoon blues funk??? I cannot work and all I want to do is go back to the sunny carribbean...
when will this end?

I think I'm still in it. Actually, funny thing is I'm posting more on this website now that I'm married than I did prior to the wedding.

My malaise just also feels like a general case of boredom. What to do now? I need a hobby or a really big project with a deadline within a year.

I'm hoping the blues end prior to my going back to school in January. I think focusing on my masters will help

I am out of the funk on a regular basis but I cant look at my pictures without getting upset! My DH is STILL not out of the funk! In fact last night he was complaining how much he wishes we were going to Hawaii today!! I am not sure he will ever get over the reality of the fact that its going to be awhile before we take another 2 week, $$$$$ trip!!

I'm still in it. Although I am feeling better now then I was last week.

I can't wait for it to stop - its totally affecting us. The funny thing is I am SO busy still (trying to get my business off the ground) so it's not like I have a ton of free time, but it's weird. It feels different.

I'm pretty sure if we were in Hawaii it would make us feel better.

(If it is any consolation I spoke to a few people who have been to hawaii - but not on their honeymoon - just to vacation, and they ALL told me they were depressed when they got back.)

That's so funny, I was just thinking the same thing...

I think I do it because I really don't have that many married friends or know anyone else who has gone through the planning, wedding and now after the honeymoon. This is kind of the only place where I can still talk about wedding related details....
