How many pics did you have in your album? How did you narrow them down???

How many pics did you have in your album? How did you narrow them down???

we finally made an appointment to meet with our photographer. Its tomorrow. We are supposed to have 100 images. We narrowed it to 142. We are having the hardest time. How many did you do?
Did you have a certain ratio - like a certain percentage of family, the two of you, etc?
We have more of the two of us than anyone - a lot of ceremony pics. We about 20 ceremony pics, 15 of the hora, 25 of the party - only 6 table pictures and we had 11 tables - don't know how that happened?
I'm losing my mind! We have to finish this tonight.

If you go over, do you know how expensive it gets?

Oh, and one more question - did you put a honeymoon montage at the end of the video? One more thing - we are going nuts!!!

80 was only included - I chose 115. It was quite expensive to go over when not in the contract. You might have to narrow down several several times bfr u make your final decision.

Can't help w/the video didn't do that kind of work.

we narrowed it down a bit more - we are meeting tomorrow no matter what - I guess we will be over a bit no matter what.

Thanks Jenn for your imput!

We just so easily picked out 24 pics for each of our parents albums, and narrowed out a few more while doing that.

Were you happy that you went over because you had everything you wanted? Did you feel it was worth it? We are now down to I think 116. Close to your #!

I don't remember if I get 60 or 80 and we had a hard time choosing BUT I kept reminding myself that I still have the other pictures on a CD and can print them whenever I'd like so it's okay if the album is a little smaller. I just couldn't afford to upgrade to add more pictures.

we only got to choose 36... thats what came with our package... so we could have upgraded if we wanted to... but we didnt

i got to keep all of the actual picture proofs so i didnt drive myself crazy with picking out pics for the album.... i plan on making an additional album with the rest of the proofs

We were allowed 70 imagines / 50 pages. I narrowed it down to 116 imagines / 62 pages It will cost me an add'l $740 on top of the $5k+ I already paid, but I figured its going to be my only album, so why stop splurging on the wedding now... may as well go all in.

i have no idea what to do - i have to ask the photographer again - she said to just pick the pictures that have family & friends that we want to include and she'll do the rest....

same here, I think we got 60 or maybe less. I went over by about 6 or 8 and ended up trading the 16 x 20 for more pics in the album. but thats just because we're not thrilled with our pics, and definitley didn't see any of them as a 16 x 20. we didn't want to spend a penny more than we have, especially since we're getting the hi-res cd.
