How many pictures are you choosing for your album...

We are in the process of picking our photos and not sure what the average amount was. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

we get 40 with the package, and i'm not sure how much extras cost so we'll probably try to be as close to that as possible. but we keep all the proofs anyway, so i'm not worried about it.

My album came with 48 picutes but I picked 6 extras for 25.00 each - they always havea away to get ya.

I had 43. Our package came with 40 and they let us get 3 extra without charging us because we couldn't decide between those pics.

I don't think there is an average really. Each bride has different packages, budgets,wants, photo amounts. I have somewhere around 200ish in my album, but it is digital so it is not just all the same size flush mounted photos bound into a book.

I think you need to go thru your photos, narrow down to the ones you LOVE and take it from there.

I picked 100.

Just remember it is cheaper to add before than after. I believe the average for an album is 75-80.

Look at it this way, your photographer shoots 400-500 pictures. If you pick 50 pictures that is only 10% of what he shot. Believe me once you see the pictures and how beautiful you all look, you definately start adding more pictures.

It depends on your photography package. We were suppose to have 56 photos 8' X 10' but we opt not to get 100 wallets and were upgraded to compensate the wallets. We got 60 photos in our bridal wedding photo album. Cassarino Studios was our photography and videography. We choose to have our photo imprinted on the card with our custom thank you text message, with our names and wedding date as our thank you cards instead of the slip-in wallets.
