how many wedding pics will you have on your wall?

so, i am prob. going to get a wedding pic enlarged to 11x14 or 16x20 and prob. have 8x10 and than a 5x7
we already have 11x14 epic enlarged. is that too many?

i'd hate for people to walk in and feel like we've set up a shrine of ourselves.

how much is too much?

OMG, I know exactly what you mean!!! I LOOOVE pictures and we haven't put up anything on our walls since we moved in together after the wedding because we wanted to see how many pics we would put up... but I do not want to go cukoo with the pics either.

I know for sure we're putting up a large print of our family picture (all our siblings, all three sets of parents, and my niece, and DH's nephew - our immediate family).

Then for sure we're getting a 16x20 per our contract and two 11x14's, two 8x10's, and a number of 5x7's. We'll probably give our parents either the 11x14's or the 8x10's and keep the others for ourselves. We would also like to put up a small collage of 4x6 photos of DH and myself (portraits alone) with a picture of us two in the center.

In the end, I think we'll have 3 large pictures (a 16x20, and two 8x10 OR two 11x14), with some small pics. We would like to frame a few other pictures too - with family and/or friends. We don't have a very big place though, so now that we got our proofs, we need to really decide just how many we'll be getting, lol.

We ddnt have many great shots of DH and I unfortunately so we went with 1 8x10 pic of us, 1 of us dancing and like 4 others which include our bridal party/fam etc. but they are spaced out around our home so its not overkill.

Right now I just have one 5 x 7 pic of us in a frame that my moh gave to us...and a wallet size pic of a pic of us dancing at the reception and one from our mini honeymoon...When we finally get our pro pics back...I will have an 11 x 14 pic of us....and thats it....I love pics...and I wish I could put up more...I just don't have the wall space.

I told my husband our home will look like a photography studio with all our pics. LOL..

Patken included in our package a 20x20 pic, 11x11 pic which we enlarged to a 11x14, two 8x8's, an 8x10. I also ordered a 16x20 pic (I think that's the size). I can't remember the size!

I do know that I spent $500 in frames which really upsets me but square frames are all custom.

In total we will have 6 pictures. LOL.. I plan on putting 2 in the bedroom and the rest we will decide where to put them when we purchase a house. Maybe in the den.

as many as it takes to replace the hideous picture of the NY skline that DH as hung on the wall, in the living room no less.

all kidding aside, not sure yet. depends upon how the proofs look (i'm dying to see them, they are on their way), and how I want to group them.

But the hideous picture is coming down...... one way or another.

we're not into displaying pictures.... we only have one 4x6 in our bedroom as for photos overall, we only have another 2 pictures in our entire apartment... both very small and 4 years old.

we DO, however, have ginormous modern art portraits of each of us, and a 3rd of us together...

I'm actually thinking of doing a collage of pics. You know how they sell those frames? I think space wise it's a good idea, and this way people don't have to see our faces everywhere in the house.

This is our 'wall of pics'-Its literally one wall-by the litterboxes of all places lol but its he wall that flanks the kitchendoorway; weird setup to our apt. Anyway I bought all the frames at LNT on sale. It is a little heavily 'us' on the right side with wedding related pics but I think the collage balances it. Granted we're in most of the pics but its our friends and family. I also have a photo alcove; full of pictures of friends and family. Its on the sofa table behind the sofa. As we get newer photos, we can gradually swap out older ones. I love pictures.

I want to get a large digital display and put all my favorite pics on a slide show! I might have 1 or 2 blown up, but we don't have a house yet so don't want to go nuts!

Thanks guys! Im proud of it. My parents have pics all over so its semi tradiiton for me; have crap memory so I like to have the pics to remind me of times.

Ryan I want to get one of those digital frames for Christmas. Do you have any idea which ones are good? I might check consumer reports.

Me, I will have a whole wall just for pictures. One of my BMs did this after her wedding adn I love the wya it looks, so she is going to do mine too
