How mean am I?
Monday is our 1 year wedding anniversary. As you all know traditionally you eat the top of your wedding cake on this day. Well I'm sure you'll all remember that last August NY experienced a black out. My cake sat in the freezer during it and DH is saying that he refuses to eat the cake. He thinks the tradition is disgusting to begin with and before the black out he said he wanted nothing to do with the cake. Now that I'm pregnant he keeps saying that I shouldn't even eat the cake because I could get the baby sick.So I have contacted the Fox Hollow and asked if they can remake the top layer of my cake. Not only are they willing to do it, but they are also going to do it for free
I couldn't believe it when they said that. But I am making DH think that it's the old cake that I am giving him on Monday. He knows nothing about the Fox Hollow doing this for us and he thinks he's in store for eating a 1 year old, no refrigeration for 3 days, cake.I just had to share my cruelness.

I had left my cake top @ my mom's.. during the black out she actually bought dry ice to keep the cake cold.. still tasted like a55 though have fun meanie.

I'm going to let him eat a piece and then after I'll tell him. He is really nervous about eating this cake. He talks about it everyday.
