I budgeted $1500... so that will be enough right? Minimum 200 people.

for 133 guests....

Maitre'D got $300
I gave $100 to 2nd maitre'd that was phenomenal...she was a stand in waitress, but is really a maitre'd..I loved her!
$40 to the DJ assistant
$15 to the hairdresser
$10 to the makeup I think...

that's it....photographers and DJ own their own businesses!!! My flowers were there when I got there (late!)

I hate tipping....OK i just had to say that.
I was thinking the same budget Julz maybe a little less because we will most definitely be under $200

Do you tip owners? like hair and make up who work for themselves?

When does the spending end?

Monkeybride. technically , the owners dont expect tips, I did tip just because I felt like it, but you aksed about stylists etc, I know they dont expect it, I used to work in a salon, actually two different ones and neither owner ever expected tips, they loved them, but never expected them. owners work in their costs of supplies, travel etc in their price, where as someone who works for someone else has to give the owner a cut. We tipped our videographer although he owns the company only because we felt like it, But its not necesassry. Everything he makes his HIS, doesnt have to pay a percentage to anyone. Hope this is helpful.
