How much time do you spend with DH?

Just curious...

I know newlywed expect to spend a lot more time with their husbands after they get married. I'm just wondering how many of us found out we really don't spend more time together at all?

I'm not talking about the time you're just together around the house, bumping into each other in the hallway. I mean REAL time together, doing something special, going out together (even if it's just shopping), etc.

well, now that we just moved in to our new house, we seem to be having LOTS of date nights at Lowes or Home Depot.

My Dh and i do almost evrything together..we are best friends and we couldn't love bing with each other more.
With both of us working, we spend almost every free minute together

We spend most of our weekend time together but during the week he's up for work at 4.30-5.00 so he's done about 7.30-8.00 in the evening.

So most weeknights I am home and awake by myself. Then on the weekends we do our errands and clean the house, etc. But we have been remiss in making special time for us to do something purely for enjoyment, like simply go to a movie.

But we have a date for this Friday night

We probably spend about the same amount of time together as before. There are some weeks where we hardly see each other at all besdies to sleep in the same bed though. We always try and spend at least one weekend day together doing things - whether it's food shopping, cleaning, or just hanging out together watching a movie.

We spend the weekends together and for about an hour weeknights....lol.

He gets up for work at 2:30am and goes to bed at 7:30pm, so by the time I am done at the gym after work, if I am not home in time...he's sleeping.

During the week, it's really tough, but I have grown to enjoy my alone time!
But I really look forward to the weekends where we spend it all together (obviously with exceptions like guys night and girls night which we try to have with our friends once a month or so......)

We both spend alot of time with each other.

We also find time to do things individually because IMO that is very important as well.

We definitely spend MORE time together, especially as a family with my stepson. We do much more family things, and try to spend quality times on the weekends, and eat dinner together every night

we spend a lot more time together since we got pregnant. I am weirdly attached to him now. I was never like that. I was NEVER home before. Now I just want to be around him all the time. (not to mention we work together) so I'd say...well 24 hours a day almost!

We spend more time together, but once this house is finished I am sure we would be spending even more time together. Like Jenn we are best friends and can't get enough of each other.

NOT ENOUGH

We've both been so busy lately- I'm going part time for my MBA at night and he works a second job so we can build up our house fund.

We are both always coming & going that we forgot to stop and enjoy life.

We actually just had a talk about this last night.. we need to make sure we enjoy our newlywed time now before even MORE things get in the way (babies, house, etc).

a lot more here too but I dont mind
b/c when he works crazy hrs I miss him but when he is home or off we always go shopping or to the gym together. On vacation when I wanted to run to the gift shop for something he would be like well if you wait a few minutes we can go together
