How much weight have you gained since getting married?
I gained 10 pounds in 6 months! I can't believe it. This is more than I have ever weighed before. I was always steady at the same weight no matter what I ate. Now I am going crazy at the gym and really dieting to get it back off, but it is sooo much harder. So easy eating pizza with DH all the time to PUT IT ON, so hard to get it off...

10 pounds is nothing Beth.. I refuse to get on the scale, but in the 9 months since we've been hitched I think I've packed on close to 20 pounds
I know none of my clothes fit .. even my pre-honeymoon, 'fat clothes' that were falling off me at one point are now TIGHT!!
I'm beyond depressed... we are leaving for Florida in a few weeks and I literally had to buy a bunch of new stuff because NONE of the cute things I wore on the HM would get past my hips/thighs

I had gained about 15 pounds in about 4 months. How gross is that!?!?!?
About 2 months ago I went back on Weight Watchers so I am losing it. I can't believe how easy to was to gain though.

I haven't gained weight, but I've become disgustingly lazy...
Thank goodness spring is here - I can get out of my winter rut and do active stuff outside....theoretically, at least.

Me too, and it's only been six months for me. I just can't get it together as far as eating well consistently and exerise? What's that? I was doing well for about a week then pffftt!

OK, it is so funny because I actually convinced myself we had this special dryer that heated up so much it shrank all of my clothes and that is why they didn't fit! It was only when I went to buy new ones and my old size didn't fit that I realized it is ME!

And I lied, it is more like 15, because I am comparing to my regular pre-wedding weight, but I also lost another 5 in the month before the wedding, so it is 15 from the wedding day!!!! At not EVEN 6 months!!!!

Not that I'm laughing, but I actually convinced myself of the VERY SAME THING ... it was the CLOTHES, not me. Reality on how much I'd actually gained didn't really 'hit' until I went shopping. I started trying on a bunch of clothes in my 'old' (skinnier) size and couldnt even zip them up! I honestly was in such denial up until then, that it took this horrible dressing room experience to make me realize than I HAD to suck it up and buy the bigger size

I've gained maybe 5 lbs which doesn't sound like a lot, but on me it IS a lot. I had slacked off at the gym a little over the winter because I was just sooo tired, and I was eating too much, but now I'm back to my usual workouts and my usual healthy eating. I have to put on that little Victoria's Secret bikini in just under 3 weeks (cruise time), so that's all the motivation I need!
DH has gained probably around 15 lbs - not since the wedding though. This has been over the course of the past couple of years. He blames it on my good cooking If he didn't play sports, it'd be more than 15 lbs I'm sure

It feels like a lot more because I haven't been going to the gym as much, but only 3 lbs! I actually tried my dress on the other day and it fit - I was so happy! When we first came back from our HM I had gained almost 8 lbs, but after New Year's I got back on the wagon.

About 8 for me, but I have been going to WW the whole 5 months, so if I hadn't been, I think it would have been much worse. Now that finally all the chocolate is gone (first Christmas, then Easter....) I will be much better. I think with the change in weather, I am getting more motivated to get out and walk and make more salads and lighter meals than the heavy winter stuff.

I am disgusted with myself! I gained 15 in 6 months However, I started South Beach last week and lost 5 so far. Still a long way to go to get into that damn bathing suit!

I don't own a scale at home so I only really realized it yesterday when they weighed me in at a new gym I joined! And then while still in denial I tried to convince myself that their 'special scale' was made to make people show as more so they would join to lose more weight!

LOL!!! I do this all the time, (when I actually do step foot into the gym). It is the only thing I can say to myself to keep from crying hysterically. By the way, I still think most of those scales are rigged!!!!! I would love to be able to find out somehow.
